Abstract

The work is focused on the North Bohemian brown coal basin, mining, processing and coal. The first part focuses on the geology of the basin, the basin mining areas and mining development in this area. The next chapter deals with the actual coal mining, processing and utilization, also focuses on mining in the context of the environment and its threat due to mining of brown coal. The last part is designed nature trail selected locations in the North Bohemian brown coal basin.
