Abstract

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the system of training and development of employees in a selected organization The aim is to find out whether the existing training and development system is effective and whether the employees themselves feel the benefits of the training activities and are thus able to use the acquired knowledge and skills in practice. The theoretical part focuses on the basic concepts of human resource management, knowledge management and then on the training and development itself, where individual methods of training and development, the principle of systematic training and the measurement of the effectiveness of employee training are introduced. At the end of this chapter, the concept of talent management is also introduced. The practical part of the thesis then presents the company itself and its current system of employee training and development. Subsequently, the questionnaire survey is evaluated and described here with the help of graphs. Suggestions and recommendations are then drawn from the results of the questionnaire survey.
