Aplikace Six Sigma na vybraném projektu

Abstract

For a thesis topic I choose ,,Application of Six Sigma in the Selected Project ". The first part describes the theoretical foundations of Six Sigma approach, such as history, principles, statistical nature and key role. Then I described the tools and the DMAIC methodology that was used in the practical part to solve the problem. In the next chapter of the thesis I introduced the company, its history, strategy and production profile. Then I described the chosen project DCU MCA and its process flow. In the analytical part I identified a process operation, which had increased the scrap and used the DMAIC methodology to solve the problem. The output of the thesis is implementation of measures to reduce the scrap on the project DCU MCA. The overall assessment is provided in the conclusion of the thesis.
