Finanční analýza vybrané společnosti v automobilovém průmyslu

Abstract

The main topic and objective of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Škoda Auto a.s. using selected methods of financial analysis for the five-year period from 2017 to 2021. The thesis is divided into five main chapters. The first one is an introduction, the next chapter contains a theoretical characterization of the methods to assess the financial situation of the company. In the third chapter, the selected company is presented, and in the fourth chapter, selected methods of financial analysis are applied to it. Horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis, pyramid decomposition, sensitivity analysis and leverage are used to assess the financial position of the company. The results are summarized in the last chapter, which is the conclusion.
