Zjištění přítomnosti nezákonných drog v odpadních vodách hlavního města Prahy

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the occurrence of illicit drugs in wastewater system. In particular, this thesis focuses on assessing those illicit drugs in cadastre district of the Municipal District of Prague 1. The first part of this thesis is focused on the summarization of illicit drugs, the effects of using these illicit drugs and, last but not least, the summary of known drug-related crimes in Prague capital. The sewage epidemiology and transfers of illicit drugs are also compared in other chosen European metropolises. The second part of this thesis is focused on the Municipal District of Prague 1 itself, the geographical and technical descriptions are mentioned, as well as the samples taking protocol in the so called Sewer A, that has been maintained by Pražské vodovody a kanalizace, a.s. The laboratories and methods of measurement are also described. The method used in this thesis is gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and the results of measured values are included. The possibilities of gained data optimization are given in the summary.
