Abstract

This thesis deals with environmental issues, specifically the environmental costs caused by excessive waste of natural resources, along with the formation of large amounts of waste which are enormous problem for the environment. One of the ways a person can change things for the better is the application of cleaner production. In my thesis, I tried to introduce cleaner production in the diagnostic laboratory AeskuLab k. s. that performs tests for various body fluids and secretions. In practical work I focused primarily on the energy consumption of various equipment, water consumption, consumption of disinfectants and also on the issue of waste. I tried to suggest measures for saving individual areas based on data obtained from the company's management.
