Abstract

In this work is shortly described anatomic construction of heart, electrical activity in the one and selected pathologies of the cardiovascular system. Thereinafter this work is occupied by pacemakers, from thier history and separation of the ones to the cardiostimulator’s operating modes. But the main object of this work was the proposal method of measurement of pacemaker’s parameters. For this purpose was designed measurement product to simulate the variable impedance of cardiac tissue and modify simulated intracardiac signal in real physiological values. Intracardiac signal was roughly simulated by function generator and sofisticated signals were simulated in Simulink, the superstructure for the MATLAB for simulation and modeling of dynamic systems. Measurement product was connected with computer via multifunction AD-card Humusoft MF614. Amplitude and pulse width of the stimulation pulse, AV delay, sensitivity, frequency, and impedance on the electrodes of the pacemaker was measured.
