Srovnání primárních veřejných nabídek akcií na vybraných burzách cenných papírů

Abstract

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is comparison of stock exchanges with focus being taken on realization of initial public offering of shares. Research is focused on characteristics of four selected stock exchanges. These are as follows: Prague Stock Exchange, Ljubljana Stock Exchange, Vienna Stock Exchange and Warsaw Stock Exchange. The objective of this thesis is to determine suitability of these stock exchanges acording to several selected characteristics in matter of IPO realization. These are characteristics as individual stock exchange's requirements on parameters of placed issues of shares and on complying with information obligations. The comparison also includes level of fees payed by issuers. Further investiagation deals with price development of main stock indices and shares' turnover. Focus is also on changes in number of issuers and IPOs of shares through the given period. Finaly the research deals with suitability of indiviual stock exchanges with regard to issuers' market capitalization.
