Abstract

The goal of this thesis is creation of an add-on application for Autodesk Revit Architecture 2011 which would enable automated creation of dynamic legends describing model elements in a Revit project. In its theoretic part, the thesis describes the technology called BIM, it's specifics compared to other methods of computer assisted drawing and applications that have been using it. Special emphasis has been put onto Revit Architecture. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to introducing and explaining Revit application programming interface and some of the algorithms used in the created add-on application.
