Abstract
This thesis deals with the use of polystyrene as a part of the external wall insulation system. The introduction briefly summarizes the existing legislation that regulates the use of polystyrene as an insulating material. Next, the correct procedure for assembling the functional ETICS is described. The practical part describes measurements of fire technical characteristics of selected materials and measurements of temperature profiles. In conclusion, these results are summarized and interpreted.
