Abstract

This master piece thesis discusses the manufacture characteristics and applying of titanium and its alloys in field of biomedical engineering. In first section is described manufacture and processing technologies. Second section is focused on biocompatibility, bioadhesion and surface passivation. In third section is described technology of grain refining through the equal channel angular pressing. The last section deals with designing production process and its realization of biocompatible Ti-6Al-4V.
