Kongresová turistika ve Zlínském kraji

Abstract

From the point of view of the congress tourism, the region of Zlin has been increasingly more popular as a destination for organizing congress events. The main aim of this BA thesis is to present the positives and opportunities of the region of Zlin and realize them during the ATS conference taking place in October 2011 in Luhacovice.

The theoretical part of the thesis introduces an overview of the individual parts of the congress tourism and their characteristics using the available sources.

The following part deals with the particular choices of appropriate accommodation facilities, venues, additional events and activities schedule, and other components concerning the congress tourism. The last part consists of a research of the international conference organized by the organization ATS and the estimated budget with suggestions how to decrease it.
