Abstract

Master thesis deals with the evaluation of the Carabidae beetles community composition and their connection to habitats in reclamated area of Loucké rybníky in the district of Karviná. Background research focused on occurence of Carabidae in areas influenced by anthropogenic impact is also part of the thesis. Sampling beetles with pitfall traps was carried out in 2011 from May to October in 7 different research areas. Research areas were evaluated in term of presence of species belonging to the three ecological groups (E, A, R), by Shannon – Wiener index of diversity, indexes of evenness, domination, index of carabid community, indices of similarity and hierarchical cluster analysis. It was found out that the community of Carabidae with the highest quality occurs in the research area, little affected by technical and biological reclamation work.
