Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the physiological load of firefighters with dependence on external conditions. With regard to the current trend of climate developement, the thermal and humidity conditions during the work of firefighters are more demanding, especially in summer, which is why the study is particularly focused on the load during working in the heat waves. These bring with them risks of exhaustion and collapse. The performed measurements in hot conditions reveal a certain model of response of the human body and its difference with testing in cold environment. The whole testing process is based on overcoming a number of firefighting tasks by selected probands in normal and lightweight protective clothing. A comparison of these tests is intended for confirm the advantage of the lightweight suit in the aspect of the thermal and humidity conditions. Other proposals for possible measures against overheating and for improvement working conditions also emerge from the performer testing.
