Analýza možnosti snížení konfliktů na pracovišti prostřednictvím výběru zaměstnanců s vyšší emoční inteligencí

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the influence of emotional intelligence on the process of employee selection and its role in preventing and resolving conflict situations in the organization. Since emotional intelligence is a key factor for effective cooperation and stability of work teams, its correct assessment in applicants can significantly affect the overall atmosphere and performance of the company. The aim of the thesis was to analyze the current level of emotional intelligence among employees in a selected company, assess its impact on the frequency of conflicts and propose measures to streamline personnel processes. The research used quantitative survey methods in the form of questionnaires and qualitative survey using semi-structured interviews with management and ordinary employees. Based on the interpretation of the results, specific recommendations were proposed for the implementation of emotional intelligence testing in the selection process and for the further development of employees in this area.
