Bezbariérové užívání SŠSaD Ostrava-Zábřeh – část 1

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the accessibility issues of barrier-free access roads and adjacent areas. The introductory section will introduce the concept of wheelchair use and legislation, the division of people which directly relates to wheelchair accessibility and an explanation of some important concepts. Further, you will learn from the work the ways in which cities can achieve that people with limited mobility move about freely and do not negotiate obstacles - barriers. We talk mainly about the grant program of the National Development Programme of Mobility for All which has been proposed by the Czech government. The next part is focused on analyzing the existing access roads and associated pedestrian crossings and crossing points, public transport and parking options. In the final section of the work, alterations and an analyzed status of barriers so as to perform their function for disabled people are proposed and interact with each other and followed up with complementary. The thesis is closed by the indicative costing of the necessary structural adjustments.
