Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a web application serving as an ordering system for a restaurant. The application allows restaurant staff to operate with the current offer of food and beverages, as well as create orders and process them. Among other things, management can record orders and add items to the offer. The restaurant is managed by a manager and served by waiters. The aim of the work was to create an effective simple solution for restaurant management to cover its requirements and be usable in real operation. The web application was created in the IntelliJ IDEA development environment, in Java, using the Thymeleaf framework and using the PostgreSQL database.
