Geochemie krasových vod z různých typů krasových hornin

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of drip water from karst areas of the Czech Republic which differ in the composition of carbonate rocks or in the time of their creation. The basis of the thesis is to realize how the interaction between water and rock works in the carbonate system. In the first phase the basic terms I will deal with are explained. In the next stage, selected sites are described from a geographic, geological, hydrological, pedological point of view and from fauna and flora point of view. Descriptive and graphical classification of karst water is followed and after that work in the PHREEQC geochemical modelling program is presented. The saturation values of each element are determined by the result from each locality and then they are compared to each other.
