Abstract
This diploma thesis is dealing with the use of GIS tools in coordinating investigations of missing people for Police of the Czech Republic. The main objective is the simulating the likely movement of missing person in country and prediction of the area which person could reach in defined time. The attention is also dedicated to prioritise and focus on specific areas that could be more dangerous for missing person. The concerned area is the territory of the map list M-33-077.
