Využití ozonizace k intenzifikaci nitrifikačních a dentrifikačních procesů.

Abstract

Nitrogen along with phosphor belongs to the most important elements and it’s essential for development of microorganisms. Significant source of organic as well as inorganic nitrogen compounds in water is sewage and industrial sewage water from production of nitrogenic substances. In the surface water is majority of ammonia (NH3) in the form of ammonium cations (NH4+). This knowledge can be used in the process of water treatment. Dissertation is focused on possible usage of ozonation for treatment and purification of water, that is contaminated by excessive amount of nitrogenic substances and it’s subsequent application in the combination with AOPs (advanced oxidation processes). In the research part are described and divided ozonation mechanic processes including their usage. In the other part are represented biological sewage treatment plant, nitrification processes, denitrification and nitrogen circulation in water treatment plant. In the experimental part measuring of ammonia nitrogen in sewage has been done. Measuring of ammonia nitrogen has been done by method with Nessler reagent. The measuring has been done during full operation of biological sewage treatment plant, where decrease of ammonia nitrogen has been watched in time at specific pH and temperature in various concentrations of batched ozone. Factors such as temperature, pH or O3 concentrations has occurred during the measurement. Recommendation for the use of ozone technology was therefore in 60% of cases. Also, we can say that increasing concentration of Namon (> 30 mg·l-1 at the dose of O3 = 30 g·m-3) leads to higher efficiency of the ozonation process. Although already a lot has been written, the ozonation process is still new technological procedure that has its pros and cons compared to classic used methods. Thorough observation of ozonization process is necessary in the future with respect to its effects.
