Abstract

This bachelor work deals with the physical modelling of steel flow in the tundish and subsequent issue of tundish slag entrainment. Own work is divided into two parts. In the introduction, the basic characteristics of the methods of physical modelling, including a description of the basic properties tundish slags and the behaviour is shown. Another part is the analysis of literary knowledge focusing on behaviour tundish slags during physical modelling. The typical phenomena, including vortex formations, which are the main initiators of entrainment of the slag phase into the steel casting are described there.
