Abstract
Electroencephalography is a commonly used method that uses electrodes for measurement of brain activity on the head surface. The use of topographic map for diagnostic purposes is less common, although it offers the advantage of simplified 2D topographic color map. There is a few method of topographic mapping. This thesis deals with amplitude and frequency topographic mapping. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to practice the measurement of EEG, create the topographic maps and evaluate them. The audiovisual stimulation was used for EEG beyond the task. Topographic maps were created in MATLAB and also the graphical user interface was created for imaging the maps. This graphical user interface is possible to use for statistical evaluation of EEG data.
