Abstract
The target of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the utilization of the Micro-Projects Fund of the Operational Program of Cross-border Cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Poland Republic by analyzing the subsidy organizations in the role of the recipient of subsidies in the territory of the Czech part of the Euroregion Silesia in Programming period 2007–2013.
The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters, supplemented by an introduction and a conclusion. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical starting points for regional development and regional policy in the EU. In this chapter, different forms of regional development support are defined and programs of support for cross-border cooperation in EU conditions are described. The second chapter characterizes the Silesian Euroregion in general terms and also offers a socio-economic analysis of the Silesian Euroregion. The third chapter practically evaluates selected implemented projects of contributory organizations within the framework of the Operational Program of Cross-border Cooperation CR-PR in the programming period 2007–2013 in the territory of the Czech part of the Silesian Euroregion.
