Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the requirements that apply to the fire resistance of electrical switchboards. The first part deals with the way of marking switchboards, in the second part with the requirements on switchboards in terms of fire resistance, the next chapter is focused on extinguishing agents and clean extinguishing agents, which replace halons. The following is an introduction of the automatic fire extinguishing system, which will be tested. The bachelor's thesis also deals with the verification of the possibility of replacing the fire-resistant construction of local electrical switchboards by an automatic fire extinguisher with an electrical shut-off equipment.
