Činnost a hospodaření České obchodní inspekce

Abstract

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of activities and management of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority in connection with a comparison with a similar institution - the Czech Environmental Inspectorate. An important role in this topic is represented by control activities and management of public funds. The analysis and comparison of data reveals many common but also different features in the activities of both institutions. In the monitored period, average values are used for comparison. Tables and graphs are prepared to achieve the goal. The results show smaller or larger differences in scope, control and economics. The findings on the performed inspections in terms of quantity and financial penalties are interesting. The funding and expenditure of both bodies are worth noting. In particular, the chapter on own revenues and comparison of expenditures. From the processed data, it is possible to arrive at one's own opinion on the degree of usefulness of the existence of both inspections and their management of taxpayers' money.
