Ekonomická životaschopnost bateriového energetického úložiště v aktuálních tržních podmínkách energetiky v ČR

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the economic viability of a battery energy storage in the current elektricity market conditions in the Czech Republic. The first part presents selected variants of battery energy storages, while the principles of their function are also described and explained. Subsequently, an analysis of the electricity market and potential application is performed. In the practical part, three types of battery energy storages are compared, for which representative sizes of specific storages are assessed. Representative storage sizes are variants with an output power of 3, 6, 10 MW (minimum, maximum and average of the potential primary frequency control). Subsequently, the future investment and operating costs of individual types of battery energy storages are calculated, according to which the most suitable technology is selected and the return for the provision of primary frequency control is subsequently calculated. Finally, an identical variant with the medium size of the energy storage for the provision of primary frequency control on a separate electricity market is assessed. The results are discussed in the conclusion of the work.
