Abstract
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the measurement of electrocardiographic signals using the 12 lead method and subsequent wireless data transmission using Bluetooth technology. The main goal of the thesis is to design and implement a software application that allows for easy and fast data transfer without the need for cables. The thesis describes the theory of cardiac electrical activity, its measurement, and the process of system design and implementation. Furthermore, the accuracy of the acquired data has been verified and a graph of heart rate variability has been added. The result of the thesis is a functional prototype of a system that can acquire ECG signals measured by 12 lead method using Bluetooth technology and interpret them to the end-user. The practical application of such a system can be used in the field of medical devices, but it can also be used for home use or monitoring during sports activities.
