Abstract

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the role of focal point in public administration. The system of focal points Czech POINt was introduced in 2007 and launched in 2008. The most important goal of the systém is to make life of citizens easier and to increase efficiency of public administration. The second chapter is concentrates on the description of the e-Government adn its functions folowed by the descriptions of the current sutuation in the czech republic. The basic goal of the e-government is to transform and simplify the processes in public administration through the utilization of the modern comunnication technologies. Third chapter is about the system of focal points Czech POINT in Czech republic, its development and desctription of its service.In the fourth chapter is made an analysis of the implementation of focal points Czech POINT on the municipality of Kopřivnice.
