Abstract

The master thesis is about an analysis and comparison of server Patria.cz with chosen Czech financial servers. It deals with the beginning and development of the internet and also with the creation of the first on-line media in our country. It sets light to the actual trends of their financing and adjusting to the technological innovations. The thesis brings the results of the survey among chief financial officers employed in various Czech corporate companies. The survey is about the usage of the internet and visiting of the financial servers. It analyzes in detail Patria.cz and also its competition which operates in the on-line financial news branch. Moreover, it compares them based on the information provided directly by its editors-in-chief or based on the inspection of their web pages. By reading of this thesis we can welcome the digital era together.
