Abstract

This thesis deals with a summary of the economic results of the two quarries. Thesis deals with the characteristics of the company, which manages the quarries in the Czech Republic, and the characteristics of individual quarries. The thesis focused on the analysis of quarries and their subsequent comparison. Quarries are held by a managerial cost accounting and the entire analysis is performed on this basis. One quarry is profitable and the other is unprofitable. In proposals and recommendations is analyzed why is the quarry unprofitable and it proposes some measures that showed a profit in the future, or at least get the profit from negative numbers.
