Analýza determinant genderových mzdových rozdílů v České republice

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyze the factors that affect the wage gap between men and women, focusing on the Czech Republic. Generaly, the work focuses on non-discriminatory factors of employes and employers, but also on discriminatory factors. In the first part of this thesis is used theoretical and empirical literature research to describe factors of wage differences and the definition of the hypotheses. In the next part the descriptive analysis describes the trends in the development of wage differences on the Czech labor market from a gender perspective and then comparative analysis of the time horizon of wage differences,as well as gender comparison. The main part of the thesis are a regression analysis, which is used to analyze the determinant of wage differences between men and women.
