Abstract

This master thesis describes the design and construction solutions of microprocessor-controlled pulse converter intended primarily for laboratory use in the electronics department. The first part contains an analysis of the properties and sorting of converter and IGBT insulated modules. The second part deals with the microprocessor control system and management methods. The third part is focused on the choice of capacitor battery and inverter loss calculations that are needed for choose a suitable cooling. The penultimate fourth part deals with the virtual design and construction design of microprocessor controlled pulse rectifier. The final section summarizes the findings from the measurements on converter.
