Zhodnocení finančního zdraví podniku v energetickém průmyslu

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of financial analysis and its methods which can be used in practice. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate financial health of a selected company operating in energy industry for the period 2017 to 2021. For this bachelor thesis a method of description and selected methods of financial analysis are used which are analysis of trend and structure, ratio analysis and pyramid decomposition with analysis of deviations. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of financial analysis, its data sources and the definition of its methods. In the practical part, a selected company is presented and selected methods of financial analysis are applied. Based on the findings from the theoretical part and the results from the practical part, the financial health of the selected company is evaluated and suggestions for possible improvement of the financial situation are recommended.
