Vinařský cestovní ruch na Uherskohradišťsku

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on wine tourism in the Uherské Hradiště region. The first part brings general information about tourism and its development, its forms and types, subjects and objects as well as cost calculation for trip planning. Our main targets are cyclotourism, wine tourism and existing wine routs. The theoretical part describes South Moravia, the Slovácko region, and the town of Uherské Hradiště. We concentrate on wine market in this region, winemaking places and wineries; we mention travel agencies organizing wine trips and tours. Enclosed is a table with the detailed information. This information includes important cultural activities targeting wine and wine tasting: Slovácko Regional Wine Celebration, Regional Wine Fair, St. Martin´s Young Wine Baptism and Traditional Easter Wine Tasting. The practical part analyses and evaluates customer questionnaire research. Based on respondents´ recommendations we have suggested and prepared a four-day wine tour with the main highlight – the Regional Wine Festival in Uherské Hradiště. The last part summarises all my findings and provides cost calculation (direct and indirect) for the suggested tour.
