Vyhodnocení účinnosti vybraných aktivit Agentury pro regionální rozvoj, a.s. Ostrava pro rozvoj Moravskoslezského kraje

Abstract

Establishment of regional development institutions was inspired by agencies operating in Western Europe. The agencies in the Czech Republic began to establish in the early 1990th on the initiative of the European Union to assist in the restructuring of the regions. Nowadays, there are 15 regional agencies that operate in almost all territories of our region. The topic of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of selected activities of the Agency of Regional Development , a.s. Ostrava for Development of Moravian Silesian Region. The aim is to describe specific activities of the Agency and evaluate their effectiveness and contribution to the development of the Region. The practical part focuses on more comprehensive description of selected activities carried out on the ARR order „economic services of public interest“ for the Region. Using internal documents, the agency will be obtained the data on the outcomes of these activities for the period from 2006 to 2009. Their effectiveness will be subsequently evaluated.
