Komunikace multifunkční ochrany prostřednictvím protokolu IEC61850

Abstract

The theorethical section of this bachelor thesis focuses on elctrical substations. The opening chapters are discussing power grids and describing individual elements, devices and components typically found in Electrical substations. The theorethical part includes a chapter focused on substation automation, mainly characterizing the specific devices intended for this task. Key components of the IEC 61850 standard are also briefly summarized. This part is concluded with a subsection elaborating on the future of substation automation. The practical part is dedicated to the actual implementation of communication between the AXC F 2152 PLC and the RET 630 IED using PLCNext Engineer software. The next sections illustrate the work in PLCNext Engineer software and describe step-by-step guide to creating a simple communication setup capable of receiving data about the status of switching elements and measured quantities and also send control commands for controlling switching elements from the PLC unit.
