Makroekonomický vývoj slovenskej ekonomiky v transformačnej dekáde

Abstract

The article offers a chronological survey of Slovak economy's macroeconomic development with regard to several stages compiled as a result of specific macroeconomic phenomena and great conceptional changes since 1993. Previous decade was a period of independent Slovak economy establishing as well as seeking for adequate economic policy. Economic policy concept was changed quite often despite a short time period. It is one of the reasons why the results are so controversial. That is because we paid attention not only to key macroeconomic indicators but also to macroeconomic development evaluation which was the result of applying different economic policy concepts in the previous years.
