Abstract
The thesis deals with the evaluation of the availability of social services for the elderly people in selected districts of the Czech Republic, which are the districts of Přerov and Kroměříž. First, the process of demographic aging of the population is analyzed in the given districts and on the basis of it the availability of provided field, outpatient and residential social services for the elderly is examined and evaluated. The assessment takes into account the territorial, distance and time constraints and financial aspects.
