Zhodnocení možností investování do veřejně obchodovaných fondů (ETF) pro manažery malých a středních podniků

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the selected ETFs according to the criteria of the investment triangle, namely return, risk and liquidity, and on that basis to provide a recommendation for managers of small and medium-sized enterprises when deciding to invest in these funds. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with the financial management of the company and explains the basic characteristics and principles of ETFs. It also describes the criteria for selecting specific exchange-traded funds and provides basic information about them. The practical part consists of an assessment of the return, risk and liquidity of the selected ETFs. Based on the results, ETFs are compared with each other using the simple additive weighting method. Finally, the aforementioned recommendation is provided while considering the appropriate time horizon for the investment.
