Abstract

This bachelor thesis describes a proposal for big scope non-productive blasting operation for coalface no. 139 708 of Karviná Colliery, in the 7th block of mining field in Lazy plant. The author tries to outline the conditions of mining environment and safety securing for workers in an endangered area. Subsequently, the procedure of big scope non-productive blasting operation and its effectiveness as well as drilling and blasting operations are described. An assessment of the whole issue concerning the origin of rock massif burst in the mines forms an important part of this thesis.
