Abstract
The theme of the bachelor thesis is financial analysis of the joint-stock company. In the theoretical part of the thesis financial analysis and its meaning is characterized and Ostravské vodárny a kanalizace a.s. company is introduced. In the practical part the financial analysis is applied on this company. Financial analysis was conducted on the basis of absolute, differential and ratio indicators for the period 2010-2013.
