Abstract
The thesis focuses on analyzing the performance of forwards of the Carolina Hurricanes within the framework of the NHL salary cap. Selected statistics are used to compare each player's on-ice contribution with their financial cost. The results identify the most efficient players over five seasons in terms of performance relative to salary.
