Abstract

ABSTRACT Topic of thesis: Strategic analysis as a tool for the appraisal of a business The theoretical part of the thesis, is devoted to the methods of appraisal as well as defining the goal of a strategic analysis, more specifically two principal areas, the analysis of the enterprises external environment and analysis of the internal resources and capabilities of the business. The practical part of the thesis, is devoted to the preparation of a methodical tool for strategic analysis, for the appraisal of a business whose main activity is providing services. The planned output of the model would be the evaluation of the business’s prospects, based on which the actual method of appraisal would be chosen. The model also aims to predict future revenue, which the business could generate based on likely development of market conditions.
