Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the legal aspects of personal data protection in the legislation of the Czech Republic and the legal norms of the European Union. The thesis defines the basic notions of personal data protection in law. Furthermore, this work focuses on the increasing expansion of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and its ability to automatically process data and the related issue of adapting existing legal norms of personal data protection.
