Abstract

The paper describes the methods of coalface removal with the technology POP 2010, which started a new stage in OKD. These methods can clear out the mechanized mine roof support Bucyrus 26/55 with a weight of 37 000 kg from the removed coalface being removed. I describe the difference between the removal by using hydraulic mechanical equipment HMZ TDS 20 – Duo and electro hydraulic truck EHT 180. The selected technology depends on the condition of the geological massif. Dismantled parts are transported by a hanging railway profile ZD 24 by means of the transport equipment HPV TDS, which can load the weight of 4,000 kg per one device. While using new technologies in transport it is possible to reduce the risk of injury and the transport of oversized load brings significant financial and material savings for all OKD and removal time shortening.
