Abstract

The thesis "Employer's Responsibility for Damage Caused by Accident at Work and Occupational Disease" focuses in its theoretical part on defining the employer's responsibility and occupational health and safety issues. Following part of the thesis is focused on statutory liability insurance as well as on the types of compensations related to work injuries. Theoretical knowledge is then applied on practical examples. In cooperation with the unnamed company, this company provided records of injuries over the past 5 years, together with their safety rules at the workplace. At the end, the assessment of these set rules is done in relation to the number of incidents of occupational injuries.
