Optimalizace dvoustupňového procesu přesného lití pro odlévání kovových pěn

Abstract

This Master Thesis deals with the topic of metal foams and other materials with highly porous structure used in conventional methods of casting. The main topic is application of various materials on the polyurethane model of the metal foam in order to strengthen the cross-section ribs of the original model, which directly affects the mechanical properties of the final casting. The chosen manufacturing process is the investment casing process for metal forms using the evaporative-pattern casting. The theoretical part of this thesis sums up individual manufaturing methods of the highly porous materials and it describes them in detail. It focuses mainly on the manufacturing methods using liquid metal, casting manufacturing methods, and predominantly on the technology of the investment casting process for metal forms using the evaporative-casting pattern. Furthermore, this part of the thesis introduces the possibilities of practical application of these materials in various fields of human activity. The practical part of this thesis describes the experimental verification of the suggested processes for strengthening of the ribs of the polyurethane model. Consequently, comparison and final evaluation of the processes are carried out.
