Abstract

The aim of this study is to define dilemma of the economic crime through the analysis selected forms of theeconomic criminal offences, then propose measures that help to reduce the negative effects of the economic crime. This study work is structured into seven chapters. After the theory and the legislative regulation of the econimic crime follows analysis of the statistical numbers concerning detected and cleared deeds in the years from1991 to 1997 and from 1998 to 2014, which were committed in the North Moravia, including the analysis of the key forms of the economic crime in these years. This study continues with the evaluation of the specific frauds committed in the accounting of the companies and suggests the options how to fight them. The following analysis of the selected deeds examines the years from 2011 to 2014. The results of this study are the measures that help to reduce the negative effects of the economic crime.
