Digitalisation of the Incident Management System

Abstract

This diploma thesis examined the digitalization of the incident management system (IMS) at a manufacturing company, ABB Robotics – Mosnov, in alignment with the Czech labor code and international standards such as ISO 45001:2018 and other relevant digital safety management frameworks. The analysis involved a comprehensive review of key IMS components, including incident reporting and investigation procedures, root cause analysis methods, corrective and preventive action, communication and opportunities for learning and improvement. Special attention was given to the analysis of the current IMS system of ABB Robotics -Mosnov for real-time reporting, data analytics and cross-departmental coordination. This thesis concluded with practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the efficiency, responsiveness and overall performance of the organization’s digital IMS.
