Abstract

The thesis describes basic information regarding sanctions under international law. It aims to study the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation and their impact on the Russian economy. The thesis includes an introduction, methodology, five chapters, and a conclusion. The first two chapters are dedicated to the theoretical part, examining historical aspects of sanctions usage. The following chapters represent the practical part, analyzing the impact of European countries' sanctions on the development of key sectors of the Russian economy. The thesis concludes with an economic forecast for the year 2024.
